WHAT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED TO JOIN A CLASS?
All levels are welcome each session; I will suggest modifications for beginners and advancements for those more practiced.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PILATES?
Benefits of Pilates include increased flexibility and strength, with more defined, longer, leaner muscles. The highly focused Pilates method of training builds Powerhouse (core muscles). The Pilates method of exercise helps the body move and work more efficiently. It can improve posture, correct natural imbalances, rehab, and prevent injury.
DO I NEED PILATES EQUIPMENT?
BYOM (BRING YOUR OWN MAT)
The only thing you need is a mat. Occasionally we will use props in class like a tea towel, light hand weights, or a magic circle—props provided in Pilates in the Park classes.

WHAT IF IT RAINS/IT'S TOO WET OUTSIDE?
If Pilates in the park classes get rained out, or the ground is too wet, the class format will be virtual. See the inclement weather policy below for more details.
WHAT'S YOUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?
At PSLM, client safety is our highest priority. Due to the Park's proximity to the water, client safety Pilates in the park classes online if inclement weather occurs. Inclement weather includes severe thunderstorm watch/warning and extreme heat/air advisory. Clients who have already registered for Pilates in the Park class will receive an email with a Zoom meeting link 1 hour before class.
